What is raw forest honey?
Honey that bees make from wild forest flowers and that is only strained after harvest, never heated or blended. Ours comes from our family's hives in Sitla village, Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand.
How can I check if honey is pure?
The most reliable proof is a lab report. Low HMF shows it has not been heated and low sucrose shows no sugar syrup. Our honey tested below 1.0 mg/kg HMF (FSSAI limit 80) and below 1% sucrose (limit 5%).
Why has my honey crystallised?
Crystallisation is natural in raw honey, especially in winter. It does not mean sugar was added. Stand the jar in warm water to make it liquid again.
What sizes and prices are available?

Is it safe to heat honey?
Heating honey above about 40°C breaks down its enzymes and raises HMF. Add it to warm, not boiling, water or milk.
