Why it tastes nothing like store-bought ghee
Most “ghee” on shelves is made by the cream-separator (malai) method or blended with vanaspati. Real bilona ghee starts from curd, not cream — and you can taste the difference.

How we make it — the slow way
The Barosi–Bilona method takes more milk and more time. That’s the point.
Set the curd
Fresh desi cow milk is cultured into thick, tangy curd overnight — never cream skimmed off the top.
Hand-churn the makhan
The curd is churned with a wooden bilona to lift out fresh white butter (makhan) — the traditional way.
Slow-cook to gold
The makhan is simmered on a low flame until it turns aromatic, granular, golden ghee. Nothing added.

Questions, answered
Is this A2 desi cow ghee?
Yes — it’s made from the milk of indigenous (desi) cows using the traditional bilona method.
Why is it granular and not smooth?
Granular texture is the signature of real bilona ghee made from curd. Smooth, oily ghee usually comes from the cream-separator method.
How do I know it’s pure?
Every batch is tested at an NABL-accredited lab (Equinox Labs). The full report is published and downloadable on the product page.
How should I store it?
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months. It comes in a glass jar — no plastic contact.
Do you deliver across India / offer COD?
Yes. Free delivery on orders above ₹999, and Cash on Delivery is available.
